Upcoming VBDC System Upgrade and Temporary Service Interruption

To support the upcoming software upgrade, the Virginia Beer Distribution Company system will be taken offline at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

Please prepare in advance by completing time-sensitive reporting, downloading needed information, and placing or coordinating orders before the system goes offline.

Downtime Schedule:

Shutdown: March 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Unavailable: April 1–5, 2026

Reopens: April 6, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

During this period, the VBDC platform will not be accessible.

What’s Changing

Starting April 6, users will log in through SipVirginia.org, a new single sign-on portal for accessing VBDC and related systems.
